Hiking Angles Landing at Zion National Park, Utah

We started our day off over by Bryce Canyon National Park where we were staying which is. a little over an hour from Zion National Park. Coming from Bryce Canyon, we didn’t come in the main entrance surpassing the long lines of vechiles coming into the park which was super nice and a lot quicker with a lot less cars entering through this entrance. The drive into the park was a reallly cool road that took us through a giant tunnel carved through one of the mountains. It was amazing drive in but things got a little crazy. We headed to the visitor center to park and then catch a shuttle bus. We couldn’t find parking and all the parking lots were full and we were there at 8 AM! We went down the road a little bit where there was a museum and found parking. Next to the museum there was. a trail head that tucked away by the museum to the visitor center. This was about an easy mile hike to the visitor’s center which got us warmed up for the day’s adventure. The shuttle buses are located at the visitor’s center. After waiting for 45 minutes, we finally got on the shuttles which took us to Angels Landing. The road to the trial head was an old but then amazing with all the switch backs all the way, winding back and forth up the side of this impressive mountain, the views were breath taking. Once you got to the top, this trial is were you had to climb with holding onto. thick chains due to the treacherous, steepness of the trial. There was so many people hiking this trial, you had to fight to make sure you had space to get to where you need. and do it safely. Torwards the end of the trail you had to consistently ask people to wait so that you could go and a few other people could go, there wasn’t enough space where you were standing and wait for more people you just had to be very vocal and unfortunately, demanding about what you needed and what you wanted which wasn’t as fun but being able to hiking the amazing Angels Landing is something everyone should experience. If you are afriad of heights, I don’t recommend this hike but it was absolutely gorgeous to look down and see the breath taking view, it is the most incredible view which makes the hike worth the hassle with all the people. I am so gladbeing able to visiting and hiking Angles Landing and in addition to checking it off my bucket list, it was truely spectaclur. Another great day in the great outdoors!
